GLM and GLM mixed

Kornbrot, Diana

Please help
GeneralZed Linear Model Mixed give inferential F-tests - what  I need
this allows for repeated measures, but can be used without a subject variable for purely between group studies
useful if one want to include heterogenous variance with more than 1 factor
BUT
GeneraliZed Linear Model on its own gives inferential chi-square tests
this does not allow for repeated measures or nesting
General Estimating Equation  from GeneraliZed Linear Model DOES allow for repeated measures
and also gives inferential chi-square tests

Please can somebody explain these differences, and the reasoning behind them
Many thanks
Diana
