Subject: Generating numbered list
Novice
Question: I am trying to add a variable that simply numbers each record
sequentially so that I can replace ID numbers with less identifiable numbers
e.g. 1 through 200. I have tried non-random number generator commands and
can’t seem to find syntax or topic in index for SPSS. I am
stumped.
