Got this error when running SPSS 20

SQLFetch (getting tables) failed :[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The query cannot be completed. Either the size of the query result is larger than the maximum size of a database (2 GB), or there is not enough temporary storage space on the disk to store the query result.

Any idea how to overcome this? This appears when I did var to case transformation.

How are you reading your data? With a GET DATA/TYPE=ODBC?

If so, try a CACHE command between the GET DATA and the VARSTOCASES.
