HI,
I apologise for this simple question ... but I have been unable to find the answer using the graph properties function, spss help menu and trial and error. I have a line graph I am plotting. The bottom axis (X) of time has values 0, 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 10, 14. When I plot, this axis is equally spaced. How can I specify it to be spaced according to its numeric value? Note: when I go into chart properties and axis, it says its a categorical value, but I want it to be numerical. In my dataset the type is 'numeric'. GRAPH /LINE(multiple) MEAN(DV) BY time BY category /PANEL COLVAR=sex COLOP=CROSS. Any enlightenment would be much appreciated. The GRAPH command always assumes that the X axis is categorical. Use the
GGRAPH command with Chart Builder or the IGRAPH command. -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Paola Chivers Sent: Wednesday, November 12, 2008 1:01 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: Graph scale HI, I apologise for this simple question ... but I have been unable to find the answer using the graph properties function, spss help menu and trial and error.
