Dear colleagues!
I would be grateful if some of you could answer me on at least one of the following questions: 1. Is it possible to define A GROUP LABEL FOR 3 NUMERIC VARIABLES in a Custom table, USING SYNTAX? (I know, that it is possible to be done manualy after the custom table had been produced, editing it in the Outpot window, but I would like to do it automaticaly - with syntax.) 2. Imagine, that I have already produced an agregated sav file, ready to be exported to Excel and I have prepared in advance the descriptions of the fields (with some merged cells for group labels) in the first 3 rows of an existing Excel file. Is it possible WITH SYNTAX to export the sav file in the existing Excel file, starting from the 4 row of the Excel file - after the descriptions(and without the field names) and then to save the Excel file with another name in order to preserve the original Excel file with the descriptions for the next iteration? I would be really grateful if some of you helps me to solve my problem! With best regards! Dear colleagues! I would be grateful if some of you could answer me on at least one of the following questions: 1. (I know, that it is possible to be done manualy after the custom table had been produced, editing it in the Outpot window, but I would like to do it automaticaly - with syntax.) >>>Almost anything you can do by interactively editing a pivot table can be done with a script, which could be run using syntax. More detail would be needed to know exactly how to proceed. 2. Imagine, that I have already produced an aggregated sav file, ready to be exported to Excel and I have prepared in advance the descriptions of the fields (with some merged cells for group labels) in the first 3 rows of an existing Excel file. It would be easiest to copy the Excel file first, manually or with a bat file, and then target the copy. HTH, Jon Peck I would be really grateful if some of you helps me to solve my problem!
