Hello Listmates,
This is a complete shot in the dark -- does anyone out there have a complete list of the ICD9-CM codes and descriptions that they may have placed in an SPSS syntax file. I am working with a national database and would like to create a syntax file that will facilitate value labels for all of the codes. If you have this and would be willing to share -- could you please back channel me at [hidden email]. Thanks. =========================================================================== RC Intrieri, Ph.D. Associate Professor Department of Psychology 1 University Circle Western Illinois University Macomb, IL 61455-1390 Office: 309-298-1336 Fax: 309-298-2179 ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. To leave the list, send the command SIGNOFF SPSSX-L For a list of commands to manage subscriptions, send the command INFO REFCARD |

CMS publishes the ICD9_CM codes yearly with recent updates.
Presumably, http://www.cms.hhs.gov/ICD9ProviderDiagnosticCodes/ will be the right address to go. emel -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion on behalf of R C Intrieri Sent: Tue 2/9/2010 8:26 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: Help with ICD9 Codes Hello Listmates, This is a complete shot in the dark -- does anyone out there have a complete list of the ICD9-CM codes and descriptions that they may have placed in an SPSS syntax file. You can obtain a great deal of documentation from the Centers for Disease Control site at
