Hi list,
I currently have data in the form of nominal card sorts, with columns representing cards (15), rows representing participants (51), and data cells representing the pile number each card was placed in. Because card 1 was always labeled as "1," and most of the time, card 2 was always labeled "2" (except in cases when it was paired with card 1), the output files I get are saying that card 2 and card 1 are relatively close in the proximity matrix. Is there a way to specify nominal/categorical data points in a cluster analysis? If so, how?
Thank you!
Caroline
