Hi,
when trying to run a multiple correspondence analysis (HOMALS) in SPSS I am running into a weird situation. My inercia values are changing when I change my number of dimensions. I start out with 38 and I am offer a value for my dimensions, when changing the number of dimensions to 2, I am offered different inercia values for my dimensions. Can somebody help with this issue? Set the Convergence value lower and the Maximum iterations value higher (both under Options, Criteria box). Still different now?
