I was wondering if someone could help me create a new set of variables from
six classification function coefficient equation results.
I created a set of classification equations from a sample and want to
calculate the membership of a new sample. I calculate the equations in this
new sample (Pred1-Pred6) and I'd like to rank order these scores for each
subject and create 6 new variables called FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, FOURTH,
FIFTH, SIXTH. These new variables would contain the rank-ordered value of
the equation results.
Here's an example of what I'm looking for. Initially, I calculate the scores
(Pred1-Pred6). I then need to sort the 6 scores for each person and create
the six new variables (First.Sixth) that contains the integer value of 1-6
to indicate the rank ordered position.
