How to get total population from a complex sample

Kashif Khokhar
Dear all,

Please inform how total population can be obtained if we have inclusion
probabilities and initial and final weights in complex samples.

I drew a sample from Property_assess_cs.sav which is present in the sample
folder of SPSS installation directory. I made the sample design following
SPSS Complex Samples 17.0 user manual Chapter #2 which is as follows:

First stage: Strata=County, Cluster =Town (4 towns from each county to be
selected). Second stage, Strata=Neighborhood,Cluster=None(20% cases to be
selected from each neighborhood).  Method: SRS WOR.

Thanks for any help.

Best regards,
Kashif.
