How to save rows as separate files?

Empi
Hi,

it is not clear to me if rows in SPSS could be saved as separate files.
Background: I use SPSS to analyse text-based data (newspaper articles) and
need to export the rows containing the texts as separate *.txt files. Is it
possible to convert the rows via SPSS syntax??

Best,
Empi

A short answer is YES.
A longer answer is IT DEPENDS (in your text data).

How many rows -of texts- do you have? Does the dataset have an ID? Would you
post a small sample of your data?
