I upgraded to spss 22 and now Python doesn't run

Hi
The problem is as i explained in the subject.
I was using spss 21 and everything worked fine, but my office went for the 22 version and now Python doesn't run with spss.
I have a licensed installation but not the disks with the software.
I've googled and nothing i found about installing or downloading the Python Essentials for Spss 22.
Do you know other method to achieve spss use python?
I really need it.

As of V22 Python is installed by default - it could signal there are other problems with the install if it isn't working properly.

22 has the ability to point to different python installations. Did you try installing Python yourself (V2.7 matching the same bitness as your version of SPSS) and then pointing to that different installation?
