In November 2013, Max Jasper,
David Marso, and Jon Peck discussed the issue of the Inverse NonCentral Distributions (e.g., t-distribution, F-distribution). Can anyone tell
me if IBM SPSS 23 will include these distributions?
I am currently working on confidence
intervals for effect sizes and these distributions would be most useful.
The Noncentral
Cumulative Distribution Functions can be
used iteratively to obtain the noncentrality
parameters. This works reasonably
for isolated cases, but it is impractical to
incorporate into more extensive
code.
Thanks,
Valentim
