Limit open data sets to 1?

J P-6
Colleagues,

How can I limit the number of open data sets to one? It seems there is a way but I am not finding it!

Thanks,
John

Go to Edit>Options>General and click

Open only one dataset at a time

That still allows multiple opens in syntax but not in the GUI.

When it doubt, look in Edit>Options. I don’t currently have SPSS open but IIRC, the dataset option will be there.
