Logistic Regression --Estimation cannot be performed

Violet SS Yu
Hello there,
I am doing data analysis using (weighted) cases. There are total 6 years
(1990, 1992, 1994... 2002) of cases about 100,000. When I perform logistic
regression and I used "YEAR" as one of the categorical variables, I found
that years of 1990 and 1992 were being dropped from the analysis. When I
selected 1990 year cases only (there are total 3,000 cases recoded into a
dummny variable) and performed logistic regression, I was given an error
message "Estimation cannot be performed becasue there are no cases". But
as I said, there are about 3,000 cases. The funny thing is that I cannot
even perform T-test from the menu. But when I wrote a syntax to perform T-
test, it did it. I am so lost as to why it is not performing logistic
regression. Any help would be great!!!
