Dear Friends/
I am trying to apply binary logistic regression on to predict the churn. I have 1 IV and 6 DV. The dummy data for analysis Y X1 X2 X3 X4 X5 X6 1 2 2 2 1 2 2 1 2 4 2 2 1 3 1 3 1 2 1 2 2 0 2 2 2 2 1 2 1 3 2 2 1 2 1 0 3 3 3 2 3 3 0 3 3 2 2 2 2 0 3 2 2 2 2 1 0 4 3 4 2 2 3 0 5 5 4 2 4 5 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 Questionnaire is also loaded Questionnaire.docx How to apply binary logistic regression Need complete detail and also need ur e-mail further discussion Thanks |

I assume you mean you have one (binary) DV and 6 predictor variables. There are plenty of online tutorials on how to perform logistic regression with SPSS. E.g.,
http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/spss/dae/logit.htm You said, "Need complete detail and also need ur e-mail further discussion". That ~sounds~ like a request to have someone to do the analysis for you. Most of the regulars here will not be interested in doing that--at least not for free! They'll also want to keep any discussion on the list so that others can also benefit from the exchanges, or even contribute to them. HTH.

May I assume you have 6 IVs (x1 to x6) and one DV (y)?
What is the trouble that you are having? You have the documentation so you can see how to set up a logistic regression. Thanks for your prompt response on the spss discussion forum. I want to explain my problem in more detail. I want to predict telecom sector churn (shift) that is why selection six factors {call rates, voice quality, quality of service, network engagement, network facilities and advertisement channel}
I develop a questionnaire for data collection given below : (DV response in 1/0 form while six question response in 1 to 5 likert scale)
Whether you shift from one mobile operator to others or not
If not churn (shift) If churn (shift)
Reason for selection of mobile operators
i. Please express your opinion about mobile operator call rates
ii. What you think about availability of quality of service (signals) in your area
iii. How do you express your opinion regarding voice quality during your calls?
iv. How many attempts you did for made a single call? v. Do you think that operators provide facilities as per your demands?
vi. Do you gain information through service provider advertisement channels? I have dummy data for application, given below:
I also consult different tutorial but failed. Please apply this test in SPSS and send me detail. One more important thing is that I want to replicate the statistic test for this purpose I have attached a file which apply same method.
thanks for your time and cooperation. Regards M. Suleman Sabir
