Lost toolbars MAC

Kornbrot, Diana
Lost toolbars MAC Wonderful technical people at UH have solved:
  1. Make sure SPSS is not running
  2. In Finder, select Go > Go to Folder...
  3. In the path type /Users/myname/Library/Preferences , (where myname needs to be the name of your home folder)
  4. Hold down the cmd button and click Go.
  5. Scroll down to find the com.ibm.spss.plist and delete it.
  6. Start SPSS and your toolbar should be back.

Worked for me.
No need to re-install v21. Since there is no uninstall for v21 a re-install will not work, since the problem plist will not be changed
IBM/SPSS may some time get round to warning users – who knows

It is essentially same problem for MAC and Windows. In either case one needs to knowwhere the relevant utilities are stored

Best
