Lost toolbars MAC
Wonderful technical people at UH have solved:
- Make sure SPSS is not running
- In Finder, select Go > Go to Folder...
- In the path type /Users/myname/Library/Preferences , (where myname needs to be the name of your home folder)
- Hold down the cmd button and click Go.
- Scroll down to find the com.ibm.spss.plist and delete it.
- Start SPSS and your toolbar should be back.
Worked for me.
No need to re-install v21. Since there is no uninstall for v21 a re-install will not work, since the problem plist will not be changed
IBM/SPSS may some time get round to warning users – who knows
It is essentially same problem for MAC and Windows. In either case one needs to knowwhere the relevant utilities are stored
