When you have categorical independent variables in the model, then they
will be different but should be the same fro regression type models.

Subject: MIXED fixed effects
Hi all,
Does anyone have a quick (?!) answer to the following? For what kinds of
MIXED models will the results in the 'Type III Tests of Fixed Effects'
and
the t-tests in the 'Estimates of Fixed Effects' be the same, and when
they
will differ?
Many thanks,
Kylie.
