Marketing Research Analyst
Description:
The ideal candidate for Market Research Analyst will play a major role
in planning and carrying out Market Research studies to aid in product
marketing initiatives. Specific duties will include design and
development of data-gathering tools, such as surveys, interview guides,
and focus group protocols; supervising (and / or participating in) all
data tabulation functions; analyzing data using SPSS; and writing
reports. The Market Research Analyst also will play a significant role
in facilitating discussions for various in-house meetings related to
market research planning and consultation.
The position requires a person with strong analytical and quantitative
skills along with the ability translate data into meaningful
information. Knowledge of SPSS is a must. The appropriate candidate
must possess excellent communication, writing and project management
skills. Candidates must have BA/BS in marketing, market research, the
applied Social Sciences, or 2-4 years equivalent work experience.
Experience in market research, pharmaceutical, or medical/health
industries is preferred.
