Dear List,
Can anyone tell me how to adjust the maximum number of parameters in a
multiple imputation using PASW 18 without writing syntax commands as the
error message below instructs? I am not familiar with using syntax
commands and at least for now would rather stick to the non syntax command
approach available in Windows.
I would rather not change my ordinal variables into continuous ones. My
data set contains a mix of categorical, ordinal, and continous.
Here is the error message I received (In the archives someone asked a
question about the same error message but the question was not how to
adjust the maximum parameters in Windows PASW 18):
The imputation model for services contains more than 100 parameters. No
missing values will be imputed. Reducing the number of effects in the
imputation model, by merging sparse categories of categorical variables,
changing the measurement level of ordinal variables to scale, removing two-
way interactions, or specifying constraints on the roles of some
variables, may resolve the problem. Alternatively increase the maximum
number of parameters allowed on the MAXMODELPARAM keyword of the IMPUTE
subcommand.
Execution of this command stops.
Thank you in advance!
