Hi Veronica
v> I am using the Meta-SPSS tools for analysing my data.
I wrote META-SPSS, my e-mail address was given with the documentation,
try writing directly to me, because I have been out of the list for
some days (due to work), and I didn't spot your message till now.
First of all, there is a newer (improved) version of the code at
Devcentral:
http://www.spss.com/devcentral/index.cfm?pg=downloadDet&dId=35(if requested to login, use both Guest as user and password)
The collection of syntax files have been amalgamated into a set of 3
macros, easier to use, and debuuged of some tiny errors the previous
version had.

What do p-values have to do with OR? Meta-analysis of p values uses a
different file. OR peto need raw data, not p-values. Please, explain
the problem with more detail (a sample of your data would be great)
and I'll try to help you.

"It is unwise to use a statistical procedure whose use one does
not understand. SPSS syntax guide cannot supply this knowledge, and it
is certainly no substitute for the basic understanding of statistics
and statistical thinking that is essential for the wise choice of
methods and the correct interpretation of their results".
