Hi SPSS list,
I have been using SPSS 17's GLM Univariate and Generalized Linear Models to analyze student level data where students are nested within teachers. I am concerned that there may be some minimum number of teachers necessary for this type of analysis. Is there a minimum number of groups (teachers) when nesting data in this way? Are there any articles that discuss this? I searched the internet and journals, but I wasn't able to come up with anything that seemed relevant.
