I was trying to perform the analysis of a set of data in SPSS. The
dependent variable is categorical (female or male), and I have two
factors: block (random) and treatment (fixed). So, is it possible to
perform this analysis in SPSS?, I am not sure if categorical variables as
response can be analysed using the Mixed model option in SPSS, and General
linear models have not the option of including both random and fixed
effects in the model.
