Good day everyone,
I am struggling to get my head around something, and I am hoping that you
would be willing to share some of your experiences with me. Right now, I
am looking to fit a model that predicts an outcome from a group of people.
I have two years worth of data and nearly 5200 cases. About 40% of the
cases in each year experience the outcome.
Currently I am trying to fit a logistic regression model to the data, but
am having a hard time accounting for all of the interactions. For
instance, I feel that there may be as many as 3,4,5 levels of interaction
among a variety of variables ( ethnicity within income range by geography
and level of commitment, etc.) Is there anything in SPSS that would allow
me to look at interactions among all of these variables more easily then
my iterative process of creating interactions, variable recodes, etc.?
What other options do I have other than Logistic?
My background is in Economics and Finance, and with limited exposure to
predictive analytics and even less exposure to SPSS for this purpose, I
was hoping some experts out there could shine some light on the topic here
so I do not have to spin my wheels.
Many many thanks in advance,
Brock
