Multidimensional scaling Proxscal SPSSv18 highlighting >1 group in output graph

Hi, I am having problems highlighting more than one group of variables on an Proxscal MDS output run on PASW v18. I have been able to change the variable markers for one group only using the lassoo and properties functions, but when I try to change a second group to a different marker type they change to the same as the first set that were changed. Can anyone help??? I would prefer to be able to circle the groups on the output so if anyone knows please help!
