Multinomial regression using R?

Luca Meyer-3
Hi,

Is there anyway to run multinomial regression using R plugin? Any module that talks to PASW 18 (with Mac OSX)?

Thanks,
Luca

Re: Multinomial regression using R?

Reutter, Alex

You could use the mlogit package, but why not use the NOMREG procedure?

Are you looking for something different from NOMREG?

AFAIK, no one has integrated an R module that would do this, but assuming that there is such a module, anyone could integrate it.

This gives me a chance to mention that I will be teaching a one-day class on creating Python and R-based SPSS extensions following the US Directions conference coming up in a few weeks in Las Vegas.  Details can be found on the Directions link at www.spss.com
