Multiple Imputations

vikram agarwal
Hello all,

I am working on a dataset, with multiple missing values in a couple of the main predictor variables.

Can anyone direct me to a useful online resource (hopefully with an illustrative example), which can guide me through the various steps in multiple imputations?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you gone through the Case Studies on the Help menu in Statistics for this?

SPSS v19 and graphics to WORD 2010

Dale Glaser
Hi All, frequently I append SPSS tables and graphics to a word document and to date that has never been a problem; however, at one of the campuses I teach at they just upgraded to SPSS19 and WORD 2010 and when I attempt the simple task of appending a graphic to WORD the 'paste special' option is not available in WORD. I tried many ways to append SPSS graphics but none of them were recognized by WORD 2010.  Does anyone have a similar problem, or is there some updated patch that rectifies this?

thank you....Dale

Dale,

Just making sure you are going to the correct place in Word (I don't mean to insult you with something as minor as this, but you'd be surprised working in IT how often the little things are overlooked or otherwise missed).

Check this YouTube tutorial on Word 2010 on Paste Special  (check around time 14:40).

Are you NOT seeing this as option as it is displayed in this video?  If so, it might be a problem with the version you are using.

Also, I have found a few threads online that talk about a few settings under the advanced settings window that pertain to the paste special commands:

Maybe check to see if something is disabled under here?

Dale,

I have a similar setup. With Office 2010, Microsoft has rearranged things.

I find that when in Word, a right-click Paste does not give me Paste Special. However,

when on the Home tab in Word, there is a Paste function at the very left that does give me

Paste Special with some choices.

Re: SPSS v19 and graphics to WORD 2010

Lemon, John S.

Dale et al.

I’ve found that in SPSS ( 19 & 20 ) if you right click on the object you want to copy and select “Copy Special” then the copied object will paste into Word correctly.

Best Wishes
