Need Help with dependent variable

Muyiwa Oladosu
Dear List:

I am trying to run regression models on dependent variable with three categories, and independent variables. The dependent variable is "condom use status," captured with three categoroes-- 1. non-users, 2. in-consistent-new users, and (3) consistent users.

I would like to know which synthax will be appropriate to run the models in SPSS. Most of the independent variables are ordinal or norminal variables.

Thanks for your help.

Hi

I would use nominal regression, using non-users as reference value.
