Hi
Team,
I
am using SPSS and I want to use Student-Newman-Keul significance testing in
custom tables in SPSS 18. Currently it is allowing me only z-test.
Please
find below the syntax I am using for testing:
CTABLES
/FORMAT EMPTY=ZERO MISSING=''
/SMISSING VARIABLE
/VLABELS VARIABLES=Q42 Total Banner DISPLAY=LABEL
/TABLE Q42 [C] BY Total [C][COUNT F40.0] + Banner [C][COUNT F40.0]
/CATEGORIES VARIABLES=Q42 Total Banner ORDER=A KEY=VALUE EMPTY=INCLUDE
/COMPARETEST TYPE=PROP ALPHA=0.1 ADJUST=NONE
ORIGIN=COLUMN INCLUDEMRSETS=YES
CATEGORIES=ALLVISIBLE MERGE=NO.
Here
Q42 is a 5 point scale question and banner point Total contains the total no.
of respondents and variable banner contains 2 mutually exclusive points adding
to total respondents.
Also
after reading the SPSS manual I found that this SNK testing is possible for One-Way
ANOVA. Please let me know if this is possible for custom tables also.
Regards,
Bhupendra
