Negative -2 Log Likelihood

MaxJasper
Using Mixed model in SPSS 15 I get negative values for -2 Log Likelihood. What does this mean? Is it OK?

Re: Negative -2 Log Likelihood

-2ln is a comparative fit index used for comparing nested models. You
can test the significance of the difference in the -2ln between 2
models, using a chi-sq distribution with the difference in df. I
suggest reviewing the book Latent Variable Models by Lohen, which has
a great section on fitting complex models.

You will get negative values here when the log likelihood > 1.  This is nothing unusual and it is nothing to be concerned about.
