Colleagues, I am ready to install the newest Mac OS update (10.15 – Catalina) which promises increased productivity, stability and usability over Mojave. Mac users have been warned that Catalina will no longer support
32-bit apps, like the SPSS License Authorization Wizard. SPSS Mac itself is 64-bit, but not the authorization tool. That is the last piece of ‘legacy software’ that needs to be updated. Does anyone know if IBM has created a 64-bit authorization wizard for
SPSS Mac products? I looked online but was unsuccessful in locating one at IBM Fix Central. I am hoping that someone else has already located it and can let me know where I can find it so I can download/update the wizard. (Hope I do not have to download and
reinstall the entire SPSS package for this, but will do so if necessary.) Thanks! Harley Dr. Harley Baker Professor of Psychology California State University Channel Islands |

Thanks, Jon! I was hoping that would be the case. The post says v26 comes with a 64-bit LAW. I have 26.0.0 installed and the LAW is identified as a 32-bit legacy program by the OS. Given the plans to release a Version 26 Fix Pack for MAC
Catalina in the coming weeks, I will wait to install Catalina until then. Harley From: Jon Peck <[hidden email]> CAUTION: This email originated from outside of CSUCI. Do not click links or open attachments
