New learning resource for survey
research and SPSS
A new learning resource is now open
to social researchers, students and others engaged in, or
learning about, survey research and survey
analysis.
http://independent.academia.edu/JohnFHall
The page has been set up by John Hall, a
survey researcher for more than 40 years. He is now retired, but still actively
involved in supporting social research.
Under Teaching there are extensive step-by-step tutorials (with
screen-dumps at each step) on the use of SPSS to process and analyse data from questionnaire
surveys.
Under Papers there is a selection of (not
easily available, if at all) research reports, papers and other documents
relating to surveys he was involved in at the SSRC Survey Unit and the Survey
Research Unit at the Polytechnic of North London.
At the top of each section there is an
annotated guide with hyperlinks to each entry. All contents may be freely
downloaded.
