I was hoping someone could give me a quick answer as I am currently examining how to undertake a research methodology for a PhD.
I am intending to use a interpretivist paradigm (ie: Subjective) as it will fit with the domain (organisation behaviour/social connection/Psychology - with design as a facilitator)
I am struggling to get my head around the fact that this paradigm will use a subjective stance, and SPSS being a statistical package shouts 'positivist' and quantifiable (to me anyway!)
Am I really stressing about something that is not really an issue? - As I can use a subjective stance with the data/research collected?
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks
Grant
