I am pleased to announce that the migration
of the SPSS Developer Central site to the SPSS Community on IBM developerWorks
is now complete. The SPSS Community is located at www.ibm.com/developerworks/spssdevcentral.
It provides downloads of materials for IBM SPSS Statistics and some
of the other SPSS products. There are also articles, forums, a blog,
and announcements. You must register with developerWorks in order
to download or post, and we invite you to join the SPSS Community there
as well.
The last part of the migration was of the Essentials and Plugins for R programmability in Statistics. This includes new 19.0.0.1 materials and materials for Statistics version 18. The only materials for which Developer Central (www.spss.com/devcentral) is still needed are plugins for version 17 and earlier. The Developer Central site will be going away soon, so if you need any of those older materials, you should download them now. Please continue to participate in the forums and use the other facilities on the new site. Thanks for your support. The volume of visits on the SPSS Community site is substantially higher than the activity level on the old site, and we expect the new site to continue to evolve and expand its coverage.
