New postings:
A new version of the SPSSINC RASCH extension
command fixing a bug with writing an output dataset
A new version of the STATS TABLE CALC extension command that extends
the table types that can be used and simplifies calculating with repeating
labels
A new version of the FUZZY extension
command for case-control matching.
A new version of the PSM (Propensity
Score Matching) custom dialog package using the new FUZZY version.
We found that in typical PSM cases,
FUZZY could be very inefficient on large datasets and could run out of
memory as well.
The new version when you select the
Maximize performance option (formerly known as minimize memory) dramatically
improves performance - much faster and uses much less memory. One
of my test cases that used to take 45 minutes now finishes in less than
one minute.
This version of FUZZY also fixes a bug
where sometimes a case could be matched with a control that was outside
the specified tolerance.
In order to use the new PSM dialog you
must install the new FUZZY version.
