Number of Contact Hours per Time Period

I have a file with the following format.

 

ID         Service_Date                 Elapsed_Time

 

1          28-JUL-2009                  1.00

2          24-AUG-2009                 3.43

3          23-JUL-2009                  1.50

4          09-SEP-2009                 2.50

5          24-SEP-2009                 0.92

 

Elapsed time is in hours.  I need to place the elapsed time for each client ID in one of 13 weeks that comprise a quarter.  The data above represent the quarter

beginning with July 1, 2009 and ending with September 30, 2009.  If each week is a variable, the final format would be:

I’ve been unable to find a solution in the archives or on Reynald’s site.  If anyone has a solution, I’d appreciate it.  Thank-you.
