Thanks to Richard Oliver from SPSS, I can now get OMS to work fine.
However, the output doesn't quite meet my needs. I am running the same CTABLES command 4 times. The first time on the entire data set, and the other three times selecting various subsets of the data. The goal is to produce a report that is a single table with the results of all four CTABLES side by side. When I run the CTABLES commands, each table is labelled 'Table 1' in the Outline pane and in the data file that OMS produces. Since I want to use Table number as the index in the CASESTOVARS, this causes a problem. The workaround that I have been using it to go into the data set created by OMS and change the Table numbers by hand for Tables 2-4. I recognize that this is a potentially dangerous and error-prone 'solution'. I would welcome any other, more automated, ways of doing this. If you use the TITLES subcommand, you can give each table a unique identifier that will show up in the OMS Label_ variable.
