Is there a way to eliminate redundant previous posts when we reply via nabble?

Hi Art.  The quoted material below was generated by clicking on the Quote button at the top left of the reply window.  If I had not clicked on Quote, all you would see is my reply (plus whatever stuff Nabble automatically appends to the end of the message).

When I do click on Quote, I can edit or delete any or all of the quoted material--it's just text inside of a pair of HTML tags when you're in the Nabble reply window.

So to answer your question, it's up to individuals to trim unneeded content from the quoted section.

I'll just add that some members typically reply with NO quoted material.  In cases where the original post (made via Nabble) is not accepted by the UGA mailing list, this can result in many members seeing a response without the context of the original post.  So I would encourage everyone to include at least enough quoted material to provide context for anyone who has not seen the original post.

HTH.

You're having a pretty good week, David.  You've already been heroic (http://spssx-discussion.1045642.n5.nabble.com/Count-distinct-using-aggregate-tp5729756p5729780.html), and now you're being kind!  What next?  ;-)
