Patching v18.0

Muir Houston-2
Hi Listers,
I have just installed PAWS 18.0 and python v2.6

now I have just went through the rigmarole to register to obtain the patches (even though I have a user name and was recognised when I registered the new installation) - if I was not using the software why would I want patches - does anyone else get annoyed by this?

now the question is - after installing 18.0.2, what do I need to do with Python (and also R when I install it) to upgrade them?

thanks
Muir

Yes, it is annoying.  I don't understand why logging in to Tech Support as guest with password guest is no longer allowed.  Or better yet, why patches cannot be applied in a manner analogous to the "update all" command in Stata.

If you have patched 18 to 18.0.2, just install the 18.0.2 Python and R patches from Developer Central.  On the plug-ins download page you can see a list of version numbers to distinguish the different patches.
