Pictoral Output: Categorical Multilevel Modeling

Jonathan Wood

I am running a multinomial model in the mixed models (generalized linear model) of spss. I am running version 19 of SPSS which is giving me a pictoral output, which I find more time consuming and annoying than the regular tables output. Does anyone know how to switch the type of output given to the ‘normal output’?

Re: Pictoral Output: Categorical Multilevel Modeling

Poes, Matthew Joseph

In 19 you can’t really change the type of output, you are stuck with the pictorial output.

In terms of output, you can try exporting it.  I thought I read from Jon that it was possible to output the pictorial output as normal text output.  If nothing else, you can output all of the pictorial output, all the information is there, so you should be able to find it more easily then.

Switching to version 21 will let you change the output type, you might check with your software procurement group about that.  For my University, we can switch to whatever version we want, the license is universal.  As a result numerous people have different versions of SPSS.

I would suggest Word or another format that preserves the formatting rather than plain text, but you can get all the views in the Model Viewer that way.
