Do you mean the IBM Pred Analytics site? I didn't see it there. Do you have the V25 fixpack installed? That is critical for this extension. On Sun, Sep 30, 2018 at 3:23 PM zstatman <[hidden email]> wrote: Posted this simple non-statistical question on the SPSS forum but no reply so -- |

Appears to me that the Power extension in V25 requires integration extension
for R.3.5 but this integration extension itself is only available per dialog for SPSS >= 26. Which is somewhat nonsensical to me. Is SPSS 26 even released? -- Sent from: http://spssx-discussion.1045642.n5.nabble.com/ ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. The Power extension requires the R version that goes with V24 or 25. It should not require R3.5, however SPSS Subscription uses 3.5 and may be referred to internally as V26. The issue for me is that with R3.5.xx I can not install the integration
extension for R 3.5 as it is grayed out...says SPSS 26 is required. As such, I can't do the Power Extension either. -- Sent from: http://spssx-discussion.1045642.n5.nabble.com/ ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. You should be able to use the R3.3 extension (and R3.3). That's what I use with V25. On Sun, Sep 30, 2018 at 6:16 PM J.D. Haltigan <[hidden email]> wrote: The issue for me is that with R3.5.xx I can not install the integration |
I assume this would not apply if I no longer have R3.3 on my system? I always
make it a point to stay with the latest R release or two, but in this case it seems to be limiting to me. -- Sent from: http://spssx-discussion.1045642.n5.nabble.com/ ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. You can have multiple R versions installed (I have many), but each Statistics version requires a specific R version. I would like to see that fixed, but that's how it works currently. Right. But if you don't have R3.3 then you are SOL wrt to the issue we are
discussing (unless of course you reinstall R3.3). -- Sent from: http://spssx-discussion.1045642.n5.nabble.com/ ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. Yes, you would need to reinstall 3.3 5 to use any of the 50 or so R-based extensions for Statistics or go to the Subscription version (or wait for the regular version to catch up).
