Power analysis: solution to use with aggregated SPSS data file

Folks,

I have to perform a large number of power analyses on an aggregated data file.  I would like to perform this using syntax or an adjunct to syntax, such as Python.

Does anyone have a formula handy or know if, perhaps, NumPy has a built-in procedure for Power Analysis?

I'll reuse this solution periodically.
