Predicted values under different input scenarios

Kim Jinnett
Dear Listers,

Is there a procedure or module in SPSS where I can plug-in various
scenarios (input values for independent variables) and obtain predicted
values?  While I can save predicted values under the "referent" or zero
condition, I'm wondering if there is an easy portal for specifying
different scenarios and printing out predicted values by input values.
Or even syntax would be fine.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kim

Re: Predicted values under different input scenarios

Most modeling procedures will save predicted values to the active dataset for cases that have missing values on the dependent variable so long as there are no missing values on the predictors.  Simply add a new case to the dataset for each scenario you want to explore and then run the procedure, requesting predicted values.
