Hi All This may be a minor issue, but I have a colleague who is
trying to save trees by printing 2 or 3 pages of output on 1 sheet of paper,
but cannot do so as the newest version of SPSS seems to have removed this
facility (or else it is very well hidden). Does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks Barbara Barbara Thew Computing Services Department University of Liverpool |

I never print spss output directly. It is
very inefficient in its use of page space. I would recommend exporting to word
or excel where you can make the pages big enough to fit the maximum amount of
output so as to minimize tree death. matt Matthew Pirritano, Ph.D. Research Analyst IV Medical Services Initiative (MSI) Orange County Health Care Agency (714) 568-5648 From: SPSSX(r)

Barbara,
I'm curious, first of all, what is the version. Beginning with 16, I think, spss lost the ability to change the print setup from the menu as can be done in Word, for instance. I'm pretty sure I remember bitching, loudly but pointlessly, of course, about this when I found out. The cause was stated be the rewrite of the 'program' in another language that did not support certain Windows OS features. Anyway, what I finally did, because I like high density printing, is to change the printer setup (preferences) from the start menu to, in my case, two pages per sheet, front and back. He may need to do that also.
