Problems Saving

Steve Runfeldt-2

I just received two error messages that have me concerned.  I just went to save a file by clicking on File and Save and this error message came up:

SAVE OUTFILE='C:\Documents and Settings\srunfeldt.SCP\My Documents\Schwartz Research\Sonnys\Sonny's

    Brand Tracking 2009\2009 Q1\01 2009\Sonnys 2008-2009.sav' /COMPRESSED.

>Warning # 206 in column 24.  Text: \

>An invalid character has been found on a command.

>Warning # 206 in column 32.  Text: \

>An invalid character has been found on a command.

>Warning # 206 in column 40.  Text: \

>An invalid character has been found on a command.

>Warning # 208 in column 61.  Text:  /COMPRESSED

>A text string is not correctly enclosed in quotation marks on the command

>line.  Literals may not be continued across command lines without the use of

>the continuation symbol '+'.

Then I went to Save-As and I got this message:

>Error # 5312 in column 99.  Text: s

>A subcommand keyword is expected on the SAVE or XSAVE command.  The only

>recognized subcommands are: OUTFILE, KEEP, DROP, RENAME, MAP, COMPRESSED,

>UNCOMPRESSED UNSELECTED, and ENCODING.

>This command not executed.

SAVE OUTFILE='C:\Documents and Settings\srunfeldt.SCP\My Documents\Schwartz '+    'Research\Sonnys\Sonny''s Brand Tracking 2009\2009

    Q1\01 2009\Sonnys 2008-2009a.sav'

  /COMPRESSED.

What is going on here?

Thanks,

Steve Runfeldt

Re: Problems Saving

Peck, Jon

Look at your file name.  It has a quote in it, and the outer quotes are the same type.  Use " around the outside.
