Has anyone had any problems with version 16 for the Mac?
So far I have encountered:
1) When customizing the toolbar SPSS becomes completely inoperable and
needs to be deleted and reinstalled. At first I thought this was a
fluke, but I tried it 3 times.
2) Doing something as simple as a frequency or crosstab is painfully
slow, to the point where I think something is wrong and it's about to
crash. When it's finally done it takes a long time to scroll through
the output, because it has to "draw" the graphics as I scroll down,
instead of them just being there, South of my visible screen.
3) Cannot select multiple things in the output to "print selected
items" and there may be an issue with print preview as well, but I can't
remember what it is at the moment.
I have not encountered anything else since I've only used it a few
times. Ironically it's faster to use version 11 on my 4 year old Dell
laptop, than 16 on my new MacBook Pro, so that's what I've been doing.
