Problems with 'include'

b.todosijevic
Hi all,

I am trying to run several syntax files that perform variable
transformations using the INCLUDE command.

The syntax files are correctly written, and they *sometimes* work OK
even if run them using the include command.

However, most often I get messages like this:

"The processor has terminated due to an unrecoverable error at 0x77...."

The same error sometimes appears even if I run the syntax directly,
i.e., not via include.

What is the most puzzling is that occasionally, the SPSS manages not to
break down. I am using spss 12.01.

I tried to increase the workspace, but it did not really help.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bojan

AW: Problems with 'include'

Falcato Luis
Hi

If it also happens when you run the syntax directly, I think the problem is not related to the include command, rather to a command in the included syntax-file. Try to run commands one by one to find the problematic statement. It could perhaps also be a problem of our spss installation, so reinstalling spss could help.

Regards
Luis
