I'm looking for examples of analyses using propensity scoring in multi-year,
multi-cohort educational datasets to help understand how to implement
propensity scoring in the following situation. From grades 7 through 10
students meeting some criteria can participate in a program intended to help
them graduate on time. Participation is participation regardless of
duration. For any one grade constructing the comparison is pretty
straigtforward but the multiple cohorts (grades) means the comparison is
being constructed from somewhat the same pool of kids. Because program
sample sizes in any one year is small, it is now suggested that multiple
grades be analyzed together.
