Q. Are files uploaded to Nabble scanned for viruses etc?

In another thread, Gene asked if files that are uploaded to Nabble are scanned for viruses etc.  I did not know, so asked Hugo from Nabble.  Here is his reply.

"Nabble doesn't scan uploaded files. This isn't a security issue for Nabble because files are just byte arrays in the database (they never reach the file system on the server). On the other side, users have to be careful, but this applies to the whole Internet."
