Question about reporting sample sizes

stace swayne
Dear list,

I have the following issue: I have two different regression models and due to missing data on some of the variables my sample size changes from one regression model to the other. When reporting my results should I report the overall "N" for study or should I be reporting the sample size relative to each individual regression model.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Stace

Most definitely both.  Why would it be reasonable to do otherwise?
